Taking the deceased into our care.
We operate a 24 hour service for the convenience of our clients whereby we will collect a loved one and return them safely to our Chapel of Rest any time, day or night.
Caring for the deceased.
In addition to washing and dressing the deceased we will also ensure they are available for family & friends to pay their last respects seven days a week. Our Chapel of Rest is available during normal working hours by appointment between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and by appointment outside normal working hours and on Saturdays and Sundays.
Our professional services.
As experienced funeral directors we will advise and guide you through the paperwork required before a burial or cremation can take place. We will explain the process to be followed to ensure all associated legal and financial responsibilities are taken care of before the day of the funeral. We can also advise on financial assistance which may be available to the family of the deceased to help meet the funeral costs.
When arranging a funeral we will make you aware of all the choices you have. These include deciding between a cremation or a burial, the design of the coffin and whether you prefer a traditional hearse, a horse drawn carriage or a more contemporary vehicle. Many decisions may be pre-determined, however we will be on hand to provide guidance where required.
On the day of the funeral our Conductor and bearers will be in attendance to take care of you and your loved ones. We take pride in the presentation of our staff.
Our funeral vehicles are the latest prestigious fleet of Jaguar XJ hearses and limousines.
Embalming.
Our professional embalmer will strongly recommend that the deceased be embalmed if family and friends should wish to see the deceased and pay their last respects. The embalming process helps preserve the body and reduces the harshness of any effects an illness or accident may have had on the deceaseds physical appearance
